Our spa provides a safe and loving cage-free environment, right in the comfort of our home, minimizing the stress that grooming can create for some dogs.

Grooming
Our experienced groomers can tackle any coat, any breed, and any style. We don't believe in keeping your dog cooped up before, during or after their groom. Our spa is a place for socialization and comfort! We'll make sure your pup feels at home.
All Breeds & Behaviours
No dog is too big or too small for us to handle; we're equipped to groom them all. Let us know if your pup needs some special care, and we'll work closely with you to ensure they get the treatment they deserve.
Nail Trimming
Does your pet need a quick nail trim, but you don't want to book a full groom? No worries. We offer quick and easy nail trims that'll have you in and out in minutes.
Puppy & Palliative
Looking to get your newest addition a fresh groom? We can get an appointment set up as early as 3 months old.
We also specialize in palliative grooms to ensure your dog is comforted and stress-free for their final grooms.

We offer a wide variety of products to purchase and bring home with you; handmade collars, shampoos and conditioners to bathe your pet at home, and more.

I am so, so grateful to have been introduced to By the Pond.
My dog looks and smells great, they did a skin treatment for his dry skin (which I didn't mention, they just noticed because they CARE) and the facility is beautiful and thoughtfully designed.
My dog is pretty anxious in new situations and they went out of their way to make both him and I comfortable. I was so impressed with their knowledge and kindness. I have never had such a personalized experience with dog grooming.
I was also very happy with the price for the quality of service.

Paula has had the opportunity to own, work with and help many animals and has turned her love for all things furry and friendly into a career. After graduating with honours from Pet’s Beautiful School of Styling 8 years ago, she opened By the Pond Pet Spa and has since turned this business into one big furry family, achieving her lifelong dream. Her knowledge of all things dog, her skills, and her love for animals allow for each pup to feel safe under her care.
When she's not hard at work, she enjoys living life amongst her pets and her hobby farm.

After a strong career in hairstyling, Judi gravitated towards Earth’s four-legged friends and has been grooming alongside Paula for 7 years, applying her skills to fur instead of hair. With a knack for nutritional education, her compassion and strength ensure every dog will be loved and cared for during their spa visit.
Away from pet paradise, Judi spends her time loving on her Boston Terriers and enjoying the outdoors in her backyard oasis.
Taylor Ruigrok
Groomer
Taylor’s love for animals directed her towards a career in dog grooming, with 10 years under her belt. Working at By the Pond Pet Spa since Feb. 2024. She specializes in dog training and puts her kindness and driven personality to great use with each client that comes in.
Outside of work, Taylor often goes on long walks with her dogs no matter the weather, and trains them along the way.
Lauren Wolfe

Fresh out of college for Journalism, Lauren has found her passion in social media and website development. After knowing the family for over a decade, she’s taken on a part-time position behind the front desk, ready to greet clients and their pretty pups and snap a few pictures along the way.
In her downtime, you can typically find her behind her laptop screen cuddled up with a dog or two.

Alongside Paula, Shawn helped turn a dream into a blossoming home-run business. He tends to the finances, bookkeeping, and HR, and assists in the salon.
Our very own Animal Whisperer, you will find him walking around the property, talking to all the farm animals as he looks after their needs.
